Fees and Charges Schedule Consultation 2026

We invite you to share your feedback on the Council’s proposed Fees and Charges Schedule for the 2026/27 financial year.

Fees and charges play a crucial role in funding essential Council services and help minimise the amount required from rates.

The proposed updates focus on improving transparency and clarity, and ensuring all charges align with current regulations.

Most fees will be adjusted for inflation at a rate of 2.5%.

The revised schedule prioritises cost recovery, meaning users pay for the services they use, helping to reduce reliance on general rates.

We welcome input from residents, businesses, and stakeholders during the consultation period, which runs from Thursday 23 April to Thursday 21 May 2026.

After consultation, submitters will have the opportunity to present their feedback to a Hearing Panel before the updated schedule is adopted on 1 July 2026.
