The Otago and Southland Regional Transport Committees are now seeking feedback on the draft Otago Southland Regional Land Transport Plans 2021-2031.

The two regions have combined their plans into a single document, which proposes both strategy and investment for the two regions’ transport networks.

The plan outlines proposed transport network improvements for the next six years, and forms the application for funding from the National Land Transport Fund for the next three years.

The committees would like to know if the strategic direction they propose is appropriate for the next 10 years, whether identified projects are adequately prioritised, and whether there are other projects that need to be addressed.

  • Regional Transport Committees are consulting on these plans before any of the local authorities consult on their draft Long-term Plans 2021-2031.
  • Please note: All submissions are made available for public inspection. Note that names and feedback are included on papers available to the public and media. They can also be made public as part of Council’s decision-making process (we will not make your phone or e-mail details public).
